不銹鋼卷閘門顧名思義就是不容易生銹的鋼材所制,這里的"不銹"是相對的,不是絕對的是相對于碳鋼而言。不銹鋼不容易生銹,但不是絕對不生銹,只是在相同條件和環境中,較碳鋼而言不容易被腐蝕和生銹。

不銹鋼卷閘門為什么不易生銹,這就和鉻有著直接的關系了,在基體內加入12.5%以上的鉻。在氧化性腐敗無能蝕介質中,鉻能使鋼表面很快地生成一層致密的鈍化膜,防止金屬基體被破壞。當含鉻量在12.5%以上時,就會形成一層致密的穩定的鈍化膜,防銹性能發生躍進式的實變,耐銹蝕能力大大增強,這就是為什么不銹鋼中的含鉻量要有12%以上的原因。

This is why the chromium content in stainless steel should be above 12%.
還有一種方法,就是在不銹鋼卷閘門加入鉻的同時,再加放適量的Ni、Mo、V等合金元素后,防銹性能更強。

其次是不銹鋼卷閘門的耐蝕性級還與碳量、含鉻量,表面處理狀態有關。不銹鋼卷閘門隨著含碳量的提高,防銹性能下降,3Cr13的防銹性能不及2Cr13。隨著鋼中含量的提高,防銹性能上升。表面處理方法和狀態同時影響防銹能力。卷閘門表面鍍鉻,電解拋光、鏡面拋光、砂帶、手工拋光的防銹性能依次遞減。
